While I initially disagreed with the new plan (BO apparently never read the part of the CAIB report about No Clear Direction), I see it now as something that should have happened 20 years ago, but that we shouldn't fight against now just because it means a lot of us will lose our current jobs. I truly believe that the worst thing that can happen now is that the infighting in Congress leaves us without direction to do what Obama asked and without money to do what the VSE asked. If Congress can't agree to enact this (or some version), US Human Space Flight is done for. And as much as I wanted the Moon in 10 years with Constellation, an end to HSF I cannot abide.

I couldn't agree more, Madi. I believe we can and will find a way to keep the Vision for Space Exploration alive in this new plan, just as our predecessors kept their vision for a space station alive when Freedom was canceled.
