Biography:
I am lead of New Media and Internal Communications teams at NASA Langley Researcher in Hampton, Va. I've been with NASA since 1991, initially as a contractor. I've worked at both Langley and Goddard. At GSFC I was a public affairs specialist in Space Science and among the most notable activities in which I was involved were the HST First Servicing Mission and Comet Shoemaker-Levy.
Before joining NASA I was a daily newspaper reporter and editor at the following places, in chron order: Fitchburg Sentinel (Mass.), Bergen Record (N.J.), Virginian Pilot (Va.) and Miami Herald (Fla.).
Although at heart a writer and advocate of free speech, I also enjoy communications technology, music, camping, reading, and helping pave the way for all generations to continue talking with each other no matter what the medium.
I have three small children ages, two adopted from Russia.
