Biography:
I am a PhD candidate in the Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics at MIT studying materials and structures. I am also a part-time flight director for the Zero Gravity Corporation and co-founder of the open-source nanotechnology project Aerogel.org.
What if we could open-source all technologies? What would happen? What if we could eliminate the barriers of specialized knowledge and make nanotechnology, materials, biochemistry, and energy subjects that anyone can participate in and advance with interest and time? What if the space program challenged every day people to become extraordinary people by equipping them with knowledge?
